We’ve decided to shine every month the spotlight on one of our colleagues. We’ll provide you with a short summary of their career, accomplishments and future plans, to help you better get to know the people we work with. This month, we’ve chosen to highlight Roger Bausier.

The permanent conductor and co-founder of our orchestra, Roger BAUSIER, has just been awarded the status of emeritus professor in his position of Professor of Chamber Music at the Royal Brussels Conservatoire. It marks the end of this 21 year career and of many other years in different teaching posts in various regional academies.

The musicians and the team wish to congratulate Roger on this long career and are proud to continue under his baton in contributing to the great musical venture that is the BPO. Everyone wishes him the very best and many more years of success; they are confident that his dynamism, ingenuity and sense of organisation will bring him many more years of enthusiasm and musical cooperation in the future.
